Set against a backdrop of
emerging powers, today's global economy presents Canada with both challenges and
opportunities. International trade policy must evolve in such a way as to
confront those challenges, seize the opportunities, and, all the while, respect
the well-entrenched principles of Canada's foreign policy.
QFPC 2007
will engage students
in a dialogue on Canada's role amidst a dynamic global order. This conference provides delegates the opportunity to
meet experts in these fields, to discuss major issues, and to create truly
informed opinions. Organized by the Queen's International Affairs
Association (QIAA), with the support of the Queen's Centre for International Relations (QCIR)
and the Department of Political Studies, this conference is targeted for 150
undergraduate and graduate student participants from across Ontario and Québec.
Held on the beautiful Queen's
Campus, this two day conference boasts a variety of engaging panels and several
eminent speakers. Join us and connect yourself with Canada's foreign policy.
Expand your borders.
