 While we have compiled a listing of internships from around the world, obviously the Global Passport is

  by no means comprehensive. However, there are many other websites designed to gather internships

  from various sources as we do. Below is a list of links to such websites.

CIDA

The Canadian International Development Agency funds internships in development through the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy and these internship opportunities are posted on the CIDA website every spring.

YIIP

Canada's Youth International Internship Program is also run through the YES program, and interested students can obtain a list of organizations who are funded by the program and looking for interns from the YIIP website or by telephone.

CCIC

Canada's Coalition to End Global Poverty is a coalition of about 100 non-government organizations in development. Regularly, the website posts internship opportunities offered by their member organizations.

Youth at the UN

This page contains information on internships available throughout the United Nations Systems and other international organisations.

AUCC

The Association of Universities and Colleges in Canada offers a listing of development internships in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Government of Canada

 

The Government of Canada, through the Young Canada Works Program, offers a number of internships abroad for recent graduates just starting out in the workforce, and some summer work opportunities for students still enrolled in school. You can sign up for the program and receive access to the job opportunities at their website.

Campus Access offers a categorized list of Canadian internships, American internships and international internships with a variety of organizations. Each organization details their particular internship and volunteer opportunities.

Journalism Jobs

An American website that lists job and internship opportunities in the field of journalism. Updated regularly.

The Princeton Review

Compiles a large list of internships in the United States and abroad. Internships can be searched by location, field, education level, time, salary and the competitiveness of the internship. 

 Idealist

Offers postings of internship and volunteer opportunities internationally, mainly in development but in other fields as well. Internships can be searched by location, salary, skills, field and language.

UofT ISC

The University of Toronto International Student Centre offers a links page that connects to internship opportunities in a variety of fields, both in Canada and abroad.

Internshipabroad

Internship Abroad provides opportunities for internships in Canada. Although it is aimed at foreign students, most of the internship opportunities are open for Canadians as well.

Brown Career Center

The Career Center at Brown University in Providence offers a sizable list of internships in a variety of fields. The Career Center of any university is a great place to look for internships. While we haven't included the career center websites of every university, it is extremely worthwhile to check them out.
