Based in Ottawa, FOCAL is an independent organization devoted promoting awareness of the economic, political and social issues facing the Americas. Interns will work with project managers and the Executive Director to further efforts projects and research in areas such as poverty and inequality, economic development and privatization, inter-American affairs, governance and democracy, and relations with Cuba. Interns are expected to benefit from extensive experience with research and project management and expertise on top issues of Canadian foreign policy.
