The objective of the internship is to provide a framework by which graduate and post graduates from diverse academic backgrounds may be attached to United Nations offices or departments, where there theoretical knowledge can be utilized through practical work assignments. Internships also provide departments at Headquarters with the assistance of outstanding students specialized in various professional fields relevant to their needs.
