Interns work with government MPP, and an opposition MPP. Intern duties may involve writing speeches, assisting with constituency work, and preparing MPP’s for question period. The academic component of the internship involves the intern writing a paper on an aspect of the legislative process. Upon satisfactory completion of the paper, interns receive an additional $1,000.
