The internship provides recent graduates of Canadian universities with an opportunity to actively participate operations within Manitoba’s Legislature. Interns are exposed to all aspects of the governmental process through a series of seminars. The goal of this program is to develop a group of young Canadians who understand the cabinet-parliamentary system and the work of elected representatives within it. Recruitment for this internship is competitive. In addition to the stipend, the program will cover all expenses for a trip to parliament, to the Ontario-Legislative Assembly, and to the state legislature in St. Paul, Minnesota.
