CUSO brings Canadians and the world together to address poverty, human rights issues, HIV/AIDS, inequality, cultural loss and environmental degradation. CUSO volunteers are stationed in 24 countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, the Americas and the Caribbean. As one of Canada’s largest and oldest volunteer-sending agencies, CUSO has sent more than 11,000 Canadians overseas for development work since 1961. CUSO recruits for two different types of placements; long-term placements (two-years) and short-term placements (varied length). Available to Canadian citizens only. |
