Africa Community Technical Service (ACTS) offers recent Canadian graduates internship opportunities within small communities in Uganda. ACTS is an interdenominational Christian organization, and provides technical assistance to the people of Africa in partnership with the local church. Some current activities of ACTS include gravity-feed water systems, rural clinics, and sustainable farming development. There is no formal application. Those interested must send an up-to-date resume along with a cover letter and at least three referees (email addresses included) to moore@cts.ca and copy to Roberts@acts.ca . Training begins in September and the project is completed in March of the following year. All expenses are covered and interns receive a monthly living allowance.
